CHURCH SERVICES & THE ALBERTA GUIDELINES
In light of our current global health climate, under the jurisdiction of the federal and provincial governments, The Shelter Reformed Presbyterian Church of Edmonton is complying to the government's requirements during the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you are currently looking to visit our congregation any time soon, we encourage you to contact us prior to visiting, as we are currently operating under special guidelines mandated by our local, provincial and federal governments.
If you are indeed exemplifying any of the following symptoms, please obey the law, and stay at home:
Hard to wake up
We do understand that some people who may carry the virus are indeed asymptomatic, and may not show any signs of the virus. Thus we are upholding the government's implementation, through encouraging our members and visitors to keep a minimum distance of 6 feet / 2 meters. In order to have this accomplished, we have split our services 3 ways [2 afternoon services, Facebook Live]. Then prior to Lord's Day Worship, the members of our church, and potential visitors are contacted to confirm whether they will be in public attendance for a specific service, or if they will remain home.
The number of members / attendees will not exceed 15 as per the government's mandatory implementation of social distancing. For those who cannot attend, our services are available on our Facebook Page, and are later uploaded to our sermonaudio.com page.
Please know that during the services, the Church Building will not be accessible as the doors will be locked for public safety.
